Abstract
Political wisdom is a rational knowledge that explains the facts of politics with a general approach and discusses in the form of true propositions the types of planning and management of social political life to achieve a desirable order. Farabi defined political philosophy as the knowledge of "knowing, studying, planning and maintaining the benefits and beauties for the people of Medina". After a thousand years, a personality appeared whose role in the system of Islamic political wisdom is very distinguished. Based on this point, this writing has drawn its mission as a comparison to discover the commonalities and differences between the political wisdom of Imam Khomeini and the political wisdom of Farabi. The result of the research is the achievement of distinctions in five areas: "Paradigm", "Theoretical Foundations", "Abstraction", "Historical Conditions" and "Methodological Approach" which considers Imam Khomeini's wisdom as the last, most complete and normative. identified the most independent school of political judgment.
