Abstract
According to Heidegger's point of view, it can be seen that in the tradition of Western philosophy, with the emergence of Plato's metaphysics, "existence" assumed a categorical and conceptual form. Next, with the beginning of the new period by Rene Descartes, the distinction between subject and object in an extreme way paved the way to "subjectivism"; But in contrast to this long subjectivist current in the West, Kierkegaard believed as a critic that the philosophical currents before him, especially Hegel's philosophy, had a holistic approach towards man and had forgotten the human existence. This philosophical development in the West opened the way for the discussion of "being in the world" which was proposed by Martin Heidegger. It can be said that his philosophy was the essence of this movement. By setting aside Kant's and Hegel's views, he tries to present a new relationship between existence and beings by expressing the relationship between existence and human beings (Dasein = special human existence). In the tradition of Islamic philosophy, until the time of Sadr al-Mutaalahin, all philosophical issues were examined in a framework of the substantive concept, and existential issues were also marginalized under the control of the substantive view. But with the emergence of Mulla Sadra, the conceptual view was abandoned and the existential and present view took its place. Despite the similarities between these two currents, the differences between both currents are more than their similarities, which will be explained in this article.
